We were prompted to publicize these individual cases by the actions of the complainants—namely, several residents of a neighboring building on Čiklova Street and representatives from the “Praha 2 sobě” political group—during the 2021–2023 deliberations on amending the zoning plan to allow for the construction of a community housing building on a plot of land within the Art Garden complex.
Complaints and reports filed by complainants during the specified period with the Municipal Police, to the Prague 2 Municipal District Council, to the Prague 2 Committee on Territorial Development, and to the City Council, were formally deemed unfounded after verification by the supervisory authorities (the Prague 2 Municipal District Environmental Department and the Building Authority). However, since the reports on the individual inspections were never made public and the district and City Council representatives were not made aware of them, we have decided to provide information about these cases on our website.
